Ritratto Giacinto Prandello

“Del recitar cantando...”

The tenor

Very few artists have displayed such natural style and keen musical intelligence as tenor Giacinto Prandelli (b. 8th February 1914, Lumezzane – d. 14th June 2010, Milan). He performed to great acclaim at many of the world’s leading theatres, from the Scala to the Metropolitan in NewYork. Regardless of the location – San Francisco or Buenos Aires, the Teatro dell’Opera or the San Carlo or the Fenice – he always met with the full approval of both audience and critics.
